Information We Collect
Daintree Thai Boxing collects minimal information to provide our training services. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.
Contact Form Data
When you submit our contact or booking form, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your message and training preferences
- Your IP address (for spam protection)
This data is stored securely and used only to respond to your enquiry.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This service:
- Does not use cookies
- Does not track individuals across sites
- Collects only aggregated, anonymous data
- Is GDPR compliant
Data Retention
Form submissions (contact and booking enquiries) are stored in our database for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and managing bookings. Submissions are retained for up to 12 months after your last interaction, after which they may be deleted.
IP addresses collected for spam protection are not used for any other purpose and are retained for the same period as the associated submission.
Your Right to Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email hello@daintreethaiboxing.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include the name and email address associated with your submission. We will action your request within 30 days.
Third-Party Processors
We use the following third-party services to operate this site:
- Cloudflare — Hosting, content delivery, web analytics, and bot protection (Turnstile). Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- Resend — Email delivery for form submission notifications. Resend processes your name and email address solely to deliver notification emails on our behalf. Resend's privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to any other third parties.
Australian Privacy Principles
We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). While we are a small business and may not be formally bound by the APPs, we follow their principles as a matter of good practice. This includes collecting only the information we need, storing it securely, and giving you access to or deletion of your data on request.
